Myall Creek camping ground (5 sites)

This basic camping area is situated in a tall eucalypt forest beside Myall Creek, which flows throughout the year. From here, self-reliant bushwalkers can explore nearby waterfalls and rainforest. Contact the Ranger at the Walcha Office for advice on visiting scenic canyons, waterfalls and heritage places that are further from the campground.

Getting there: From Gloucester drive 18.5km north of the township of Nowendoc on Thunderbolts Way. From Walcha drive 7km south of the Nowendoc (Tops) Rd on Thunderbolts Way and turn west onto Wild Cattle Creek Rd. Drive 3.5km through Nowendoc State Forest down Wild Cattle Creek Rd and turn right onto Myall Creek Mgt Trail. Drive 2.5km along Myall Creek Mgt Trail to the camp ground (4WD only; 2WD as far as the car park).
