Brisbane Water National Park
Climate
The park’s climate is temperate with no dry season and a warm summer. The average annual rainfall is about 1200 mm and January through March is the wettest time.
The spring floral display attracts large numbers of visitors from mid July to mid October. The waratah patch along Patonga Road is a favourite destination and from Warrah Trig you’ll look over a carpet of wildflowers at spectacular views of the Hawkesbury River. Soon after the waratah flowering many hanging swamps have mass flowerings of Christmas Bells.
