Due to the nature of the road network in the reserve car touring opportunities are limited. However you can easily get to the popular areas of Nadgee such as Baycliff and Greenglade near Wonboyn Lake, along with the ranger station at Merrica Crossing, where you can take a half day walk to the very scenic Merrica River mouth. The remainder of the reserve to the south of Merrica Crossing is in the Nadgee Wilderness and is restricted to walkers only.
