Sightseeing
The rock summit is 250 metres above the surrounding countryside and provides a fine panoramic view. The return walk can be completed at a comfortable pace in three hours.
Picnics and barbecues
The refurbished picnic areas on the lower slopes has toilets, a covered table, a gas barbecue area and a large carpark.
Walking
Enjoy the 3 km Yerong Nature Trail, which starts at the information board in the picnic area. The track is gentle on the lower slopes, but on the higher ground the gradient is fairly steep and there are some steps. Follow the zigzag tracks rather than the shorter but steeper tracks.
