Kattang Nature Reserve

National Parks and Wildlife Service logoHighlights: The sharp cliff faces of Perpendicular Point jut out into the sea at the centre of the reserve, and Dooragan National Park provides a dramatic inland backdrop. Small pockets of rainforest are dominated by flowering coastal heathland.

Activities: The Flower Bowl Circuit is a must if you're a native flower lover visit in the early spring. There are great easy day walks with impressive views to Perpendicular Point.

Access: 3 kilometres east of Laurieton, 25 kilometres south of Port Macquarie and 10 kilometres from Kew off the Pacific Highway; enter off Bergalia Crescent or Charles Hamey Lookout, which are both off Camden Haven Road.
