Volunteering in the park

NPWS has a proud tradition of working with volunteers in a wide range of projects. Examples of volunteer opportunities include bush regeneration, flora and fauna surveys, threatened species management, culture and heritage conservation, working in information centres and conducting guided tours. South West Rocks Dune Care

For over 10 years this volunteer bush regeneration organisation has removed weeds and restored the bushland from Smoky Cape to Trail Bay. The  group have secured many funding grants, and the National Parks and Wildlife Service is grateful for their commitment to Hat Head NP and surrounding environs.
