NPWS has a proud tradition of working with volunteers in a wide range of projects. Examples of volunteer opportunities include bush regeneration, flora and fauna surveys, threatened species management, culture and heritage conservation, working in information centres and conducting guided tours. Friends of Yeramba Lagoon
This volunteer bush regeneration group operates in Georges River National Park. The Friends of Yeramba Lagoon have been concentrating their efforts in the upper sections of the Yeramba Lagoon Catchment. If you’d like to join them, the group meets on a monthly basis, generally on weekends.

Greening Australia and Conservation Volunteers Australian
Greening Australia and Conservation Volunteers Australian carry out bush regeneration programs in the reserve. These programs tend to be for short periods (1-2 weeks) but with high intensity (10-15 people, 5 days per week).
