Active for Air
Welcome to Active for Air, a program for primary school students designed to improve both their health and the quality of the air around them.
Active for Air was developed jointly by the Environment Protection Authority and the National Heart Foundation. It provides students with a range of knowledge and skills to help them educate their school community about the need to reduce reliance on motor vehicles for short trips and instead replace them with healthy physical activity.
Active for Air links concepts about the environment and health through a series of modules containing worksheets which gradually build student skills.
Most of the material in Active for Air consists of PDF files. They are designed to be printed out for use in the classroom and project work.
