Alpine Resorts Sustainability Forum
The Alpine Resorts Sustainability Forum is an annual forum hosted alternatively by Victorian Alpine Resorts Coordinating Council and the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water. The forum's aim is to promote and encourage sustainable use and management of alpine resorts within Australia.
The forum attracts over 120 participants from NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and New Zealand. Participants included ski lift companies, Alpine Resort Management Boards, other alpine resort managers, planners, accommodation providers, operators and individuals interested in the long term sustainability of the alpine resorts.
The forum is a not-to be-missed event for alpine resort managers, those in snow-related industries, on-mountain businesses, and indeed all those interested in Australia's alpine resorts.
The Alpine Resort Sustainability Forum is now an established part of the alpine industry's annual calendar. Each year it attracts new participants as well as reinvigorates regular attendees.
