Search air quality data

This search facility provides you free access to air pollutant and meteorology data. It includes hourly averages for all criterion pollutants and meteorology variables. Data is available for most stations in the OEH air quality monitoring network.

  • New download feature
Hourly site average pollutant concentration and meteorological data are now downloadable. Such hourly data is now available from 1994 onwards.

The current limit for downloading hourly data is set to 365*24*15 records per download. The limit for table and graph display is 365*24*3 records.

  • Data validation status
Full data validation completed up to 31 December 2017. Later records have passed initial, automated validation process for online display.

See search instructions for the download procedure or contact the NSW OEH Environment Line: 131 555 (local call cost throughout NSW) or (02) 9995 5555 (if calling from outside NSW). Download the network site information (XLS 31KB).

During 2012, NSW OEH gradually moved from TEOMs to BAMs for continuous monitoring of  fine particles as PM2.5.  Consequently, a step change may appear in data when looking at long range data trends which include this period.
