Annual Reviews of Learning for Sustainability 2002-05
First Review
The first review of Learning for Sustainability 2002-05 conducted by the NSW Council on Environmental Education covered the period December 2002-June 2003. 83 organisations engaged in environmental education, comprising State agencies, local councils, community groups and universities, provided reports on their contribution to implementing the plan.
The review found that there are significant levels of cross-sectoral coordination and partnerships between environmental education providers. The review, however, identified scope for improvement in meeting the needs of specific communities or target audiences, and in enhancing the research and evaluation base of education programs.

Second Review
The second review of Learning for Sustainability 2002-05 was conducted by the NSW Council on Environmental Education in November 2004, covering the period July 2003 - June 2004. 96 organisations, comprising State agencies, local councils, community groups, industry groups and universities, provided reports on how their environmental education activities during 2003-04 contributed to the plan.

Third Review
The third and final review of Learning for Sustainability 2002-05 covers the period July 2005 – June 2006. This review was conducted as an integral part of the development of the second plan, Learning for Sustainability 2007-10. 117 organisations, consisting of 39 State agencies, 54 local councils, ten universities, five environment groups and nine industry bodies provided reports on how their environmental education activities contributed to the plan during the 2005-06 period.
