Who Cares about Water and Climate Change in 2007?

Who Cares about Water and Climate Change in 2007? is a survey of NSW people's environmental knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, particularly in relation to water and climate issues. It includes some of the continuing Who Cares? series questions and some new questions on climate change.

The level of concern about water issues, evident in the 2006 survey, has continued to increase despite the survey taking place just after a period of heavy rain and flooding on the coast, rising substantially both as a State Government priority issue and as an environmental issue. Climate change also increased considerably in importance and this survey assesses the extent to which people think climate change will impact their lives, when and how much it will impact and what they feel should be done to reduce or prevent this happening.

Climate Change Fact Sheet 06-07A 5-page fact sheet provides summary of information related to climate change from the 2006 and 2007 'Who Cares?' surveys.  It includes demographic and segment differences and relevant responses from the focus group research.
