Use our online services

Many online services are accessed through the tabs on the right-hand side of the Home page. These tabs are:

  • 'I need help with' - report pollution, littering and hazardous materials incidents online; discover ways in which you can safely dispose of chemicals and hazardous waste, and deal with noise issues in your neighbourhood; and learn more about native wildlife, pests and weeds.
  • 'Apply for' - apply for licences, grants, rebates and national park annual passes; discover what you need to do before conducting research on Aboriginal sites; find out about what you must do to keep prescribed radiation apparatus; and apply for a job with OEH or gain copyright permission to use our material.
  • 'Apply for' - seek access to Government information under the GIPA Act - much of OEH's information is publicly available free of charge on OEH's websites, through the Information Centre, OEH offices and public registers. Information is also available for inspection or purchase at the lowest reasonable cost. Where information is not already available, the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 gives you the right to access information you ask for unless there is an overriding public interest against release.
  • 'Get involved' - volunteer to help us with our many activities, comment on proposed legislation and plans, or sign up for our community education and training programs.
  • 'Air quality' - access real-time air quality information which is updated hourly, and subscribe to frequent updates from your region.
  • 'Beachwatch' - check out the water quality at your local beach and follow the latest news on Twitter.
  • 'Subscribe' - sign up for an online newsletter or targeted update.
