Australian River Assessment System (AUSRIVAS)

AUSRIVAS is a rapid prediction system used to assess the biological health of Australian rivers.

National Wetlands Program

The wetlands and migratory waterbirds web site provides information about Australia's obligations under the Convention on Wetlands (Ramsar, Iran, 1971), the Convention on Migratory Species (Bonn Convention) and international treaties such as the Japan-Australia and China-Australia Migratory Bird Agreements (JAMBA and CAMBA).

Ramsar Convention on Wetlands

The Convention on Wetlands, signed in Ramsar, Iran, in 1971, is an intergovernmental treaty which provides the framework for national action and international cooperation for the conservation and wise use of wetlands and their resources.

Streamwatch

An initiative of Sydney Water, Streamwatch is a community environmental education and action program that helps to raise awareness of the local environment.

Wetland Care Australia

Wetland Care Australia is a not-for-profit company dedicated to on-ground action to repair wetlands.
