Hunter Valley Vine Thicket in the NSW North Coast and Sydney Basion Bioregions - rejection of critically endangered ecological community listing

NSW Scientific Committee - final determination

The Scientific Committee, established by the Threatened Species Conservation Act, has made a Final Determination to reject a proposal to list the Hunter Valley Vine Thicket in the NSW North Coast and Sydney Basin Bioregions as a CRITICALLY ENDANGERED ECOLOGICAL COMMUNITY in Part 2 of Schedule 1A of the Act. Rejection of a nomination is provided for by Part 2 of the Act.

The Scientific Committee has found that this Community meets the criteria for listing as an endangered ecological community and proposes to make a Preliminary Determination to support a proposal to list the Hunter Valley Vine Thicket in the NSW North Coast and Sydney Basin Bioregions as an endangered ecological community in Part 3 of Schedule 1 of the Act.
