Lachlan Riverine Working Group
The Lachlan Riverine Working Group aims to achieve the best outcomes for environmental water delivery in the Lachlan catchment. The working group provides advice on the use and management of environmental water to enhance the health and effective functioning of the riverine, wetland and floodplain ecosystems within the catchment.
Sources of environmental water include the environmental water provisions of the Water Sharing Plan for the Lachlan Regulated River Water Source 2003, adaptive environmental water held by the Office of Environment and Heritage and allocations made available from entitlements held by the Commonwealth Environmental Water Holder.
