Frasers Property Australia: Fairwater

A picture of Fairwater residential development by Frasers Property Australia.Fairwater is a 38-hectare residential development in Blacktown that was built on an old golf course. The development is surrounded by communal outdoor areas and ecological precincts.

It was awarded the first ‘6-star Green Star – Communities’ rating in NSW by the Green Building Council of Australia. This makes Fairwater one of only a handful of community projects nationally to have received this award, the GBCA’s highest possible recognition.

Built by Frasers Property Australia, Fairwater is a large-scale project that provides effective outcomes for sustainable living.

Winners’ comment: ‘Winning the Green Globe award is a fantastic recognition of the innovation that has been put into Fairwater and further evidence of how we deliver on our promise of a different way of doing things to genuinely serve the needs of local communities – as well as the planet.’ Ray Baksmati, Development Director, Land, Frasers Property Australia.
