The Bower Reuse & Repair Centre
The Bower Reuse & Repair Centre – in Sydney’s Marrickville – works with local councils to collect and rehome items such as furniture, household goods, building materials and bicycles.
Through agreements with other community groups, including Mums4Refugees, Newtown Asylum Seeker Centre and Pyrmont Community Cares, The Bower provides furniture and household goods to asylum seekers and inner-city residents struggling to furnish their homes.
‘There should be a Bower in every community.'
