Description

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Unusual, asymmetrical, Federation style c. 1910. Minor alterations to glazing but otherwise little altered. Original slate roof. Complex form with gables on both street frontages. No. 3 has much the larger frontage to Ashton Street, with decorative roughcast gable above verandah. Simple verandah posts and brackets. Stone piers, foundation and palisade fence. Full height double hung windows of special note. Original door to No. 3.
