Superb intact example of 1940's, Spanish Mission style flat building. Special streetscape value on its unusually shaped and prominent corner site. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1915-1945
Physical description: Spanish Mission style flats, c. 1940. Occupies most of its wedge shaped corner site. Dark brick with restrained decorative brickwork. Outstanding features are characteristic brick parapets, on corner and above main entries. Also of note are glazed feature windows above entries and projecting brick balconies (Warners Avenue façade). Rectangular and arched windows. Survives virtually intact except for concrete roof tiles (not unsympathetic). One of a row of three similarly styled flat buildings, all in good condition.
