Statement of significance:

One of the oldest and best preserved of Waverley's early worker's cottages. Retains much of its original fabric intact. Special historic interest for its association with Simeon Pearce. One of the best survivors in the group originally built on his holding. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1890-1890
Physical description: Old weatherboard cottage. Roofing and fence replaced but otherwise little altered. Traditional Georgian form. Symmetrical with hipped iron roof. Double hung windows either side of door, all original. Skillion verandah is a reconstruction. Verandah posts replaced and brackets added, but alterations not unsympathetic. Brick fence is of a different character. Hallway features excellent original pressed metal dado.
