Unusual early twentieth century house, of special note for its masonry block construction and individual detailing. Unfortunately compromised by new fence. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Very good, narrow fronted Bungalow. Could be as early as 1910. Transitional style. Single large gable with solid timber strapwork. Early example of masonry block construction, painted. Balustrade in matching materials. Paired sash windows with 9 coloured upper panes. Large lattice work valence. Main door has skylight. Original encaustic tiles to porch and pathway. Recently spoiled by new fence (1990). Original fence matched balustrade. Only other alteration apparent is security door.
