Good example of what would originally have been a simple weekender. Rare surviving example, particularly well preserved for an early timber cottage. Considerable social and historical interest. High local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Old weatherboard cottage. Probably c. 1900. Symmetrical design. Simple gabled form with skillion verandah. Corrugated iron roofing. Sash windows either side of door. Decoration limited except for carved verandah brackets. Good original picket fence. Let down only by screen door. Colour scheme could also improve.
