Description

Construction years: 1915-1945
Physical description: Individual Inter-War house. Standard asymmetrical form combined with unusual roof. Tuckpointed brick below sill level, with roughcast above. Simple pitched roof in terra cotta tiles. Continues down over verandah and around front projection. Projection features low pitched, shingled gable. Square tapered colonettes to verandah above brick piers. Triple casement windows featuring original rose pattern leadlight. Picket fence original. Only obvious alteration is security door.

History

Historical notes: First appears in Sands Directory in 1922, when it was occupied by Reginald Payne, and known as "The Haven".
