Statement of significance:

Late Victorian villa of some historical interest. Also retains some architectural interest despite alterations. Further investigation of history and degree of alteration required. Closely associated with important landscape features close by, probably part of the original grounds. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1890-1890
Physical description: Late Victorian villa. Somewhat compromised by additions and associated alterations. Retains most original fabric and a great deal of original decorative detail. Possibly capable of reconstruction but early plans or photos would be required. Listing includes mature tree group and "The Jungle" area to the rear (see landscape inventory form).
