Statement of significance:

Fine Inter-War example of the Free Classical style. One of the better flat buildings built in the Waverley Council area in this period. Little altered. Special streetscape contribution on prominent corner site. High local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1915-1945
Physical description: 1920's style flat building in Free Classical style. Spoiled by side addition and minor alterations, but otherwise good. Three storeys with good facades to both frontages. Face brick with decorative render. Of special note are pilastered columns, with elaborately moulded capitals and entablature, and pressed metal to bay windows. Unusual stepped setback with portico in recess. Rusticated stone basement area.
