Statement of significance:

Very good late nineteenth century terrace. Essentially intact and well maintained. Forms a good pair with No. 37. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Very good, freestanding, Late Victorian terrace. Wide frontage. Magnificent moulded parapet and good mouldings to downstairs windows. Good cast iron lace, including verandah frieze. Cast iron columns. Well maintained. Original palisade fence.

Former use: Dwelling house

History

Historical notes: First appeared in Sands Directory in 1887. Occupied by Meyrick Rainsford and known as "Iolanthe".
