Statement of significance:

Outstanding Victorian stone terrace. In good condition despite some loss of integrity. More spacious and generous than most nineteenth century terraces. One of Waverley's better surviving Victorian residenetial buildlings. Local significance.

Construction years: 1890-1890
Physical description: Outstanding stone terrace. A lot of detail lost but quite capable of reconstruction. Two storeys with wide frontages. Pitched roofs and parapets to party walls. Only No. 7 retains its original slate. No. 9 now compromised by dormer windows. Flat cast iron columns to upstairs verandahs, round columns below. Iron lace brackets and fringe to lower verandahs with lacework balustrading above. Most retain original windows and french doors. Main doors feature sidelights and skylights. Worst features at present are high fences (at Nos. 5 and 11). No. 9 has original palisade fence with high hedge.

Historical notes: First appears in Sands Directory in 1885, but possibly earlier. Then known as "Brighton Terrace". Retains this name until after 1910.
