Statement of significance:

Good example of a Federation terraced pair, derived from earlier Victorian forms. Retains architectural interest despite loss of integrity, but main value now is for contribution to streetscape as one of a row of three (see forms for Nos. 7-9 and 15-17). Local significance.

Construction years: 1890-1915
Physical description: Terraced pair. Transitional, Federation style, probably c. 1905. Good despite painted brick, but let down by security grilles and concrete roof tiles. Hipped roof with main roof continuing down over verandahs. Exposed rafter eaves. Outstanding verandahs and balconies, fully reconstructed. Wing walls with extensive iron lace decoration. Simple openings. Sash windows. Skylights to doors. Original tesselated tiles and palisade fence.

Historical notes: First appear in Sands Directory in 1910. Known as "Marevo" (No. 11) and "Nevada" (No. 13) until the 1920's.
