Statement of significance:

Wide street design. Consciously created vista with central median. Traditional planting with Canna lilies from c. 1930's period of special note. Now complemented by native tree planting from c. 1970. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1915-1945
Physical description: Wide street with central median. Concrete kerb edging to median with traditional annual planting of Canna lilies. Street layout and earlier planting, possibly from c.1930. Kerbside planting includes one tall Norfolk Island pine (to 18m), at north side near Old South Head Road. Planting of Sheoaks and Paperbarks from c.l1970, now reaching to 12m high.
