Urban park featuring cultural planting and layout representative of the Inter-War period. Local significance.

Description

Construction years: 1891-1920
Physical description: Small triangular park, possibly existing from the initial subdivision of the area, c.1890. Similar to Macpherson Park, a block to the east. Layout and planting from about 1920. Evidenced by four existing Canary Island palms, to 12m high. Set out in a semi-circle around edge of park. One centrally located Radiata pine, 12m high. Layout and species typical of period. Recent planting a mixture of exotic and native species. Plays a secondary role in design. Modern (1980's) rustic timber play equipment and shelter table located in park.
