Report illegal activities
If you see anyone doing anything suspicious in a park or reserve, please report it. Illegal activities may include:
- lighting bushfires
- hunting of any kind
- trapping or collecting birds, birds' eggs, reptiles or other animals
- picking flowers or collecting plants
- driving or riding vehicles, bikes and horses on unauthorised tracks.
Please write down as many details as possible of what you've seen. If possible, include such things as vehicle registration, date, time and location, as well as a description of the incident and people involved.
Report the incident as soon as possible to the nearest NPWS office, or to the police. Report any smoke or bushfire sighting immediately to the NPWS and Rural Fire Service.
