From the carpark there is flat access to the ramp up to the accommodation rooms, and a ramp from the accommodation to the separate kitchen/dining facility.

Exploring these authentic former shearers’ quarters, you can’t help feeling you’re a part of the park’s former life as a functioning sheep station. Imagine the click of the shears as you share a meal in the communal kitchen/dining room, or relax and have a yarn in the central courtyard.
Mungo Shearers’ Quarters has two rooms with three bunk beds, one room with one double and two bunk beds, one room with one queen and two bunk beds, and one room with one double bed plus a shared toilet block and showers.

Getting there: On entering Mungo National Park from Arumpo Road, turn left at the T junction and head for the visitor centre. Mungo Shearers’ Quarters is located right beside Mungo Visitor Centre.
Road access: Unsealed road/trail - 2WD vehicles. Dry weather only.

Accommodation fees: $60 per room per night (2 person inclusive); $30 per night per additional adult (16 years+); $10 per night per additional child (5-15 years); infants free (0-4 years).
