The Nature Near Me app helps you explore thousands of nature places throughout NSW – national parks, spectacular landforms and views - wild rivers, wetlands and marine sites - wildlife, whales and more.

With the app, you can:

  • use the integrated maps to plan your trip
  • find information about places of interest as you travel
  • store the places you want to visit so you can use the app when you are out of mobile range
  • comment on and rate nature places
  • share your discoveries and places using the app or the Nature Near Me portal.

What is the Nature Near Me app?

The Nature Near Me app is a free mobile app that helps you discover and explore nature near you in NSW.

How do I get the app?

If you have an iPhone, you can download the Nature Near Me iPhone app from the App Store.

If you have an Android device, you can download the app from the Play Store.

How much does the app cost?

All versions of the Nature Near Me app are FREE to download to your mobile device. Your mobile carrier's normal data charges will apply for using the app.

What devices are compatible with the app?

The Nature Near Me app is designed for:

  • Android devices with an operating system of 4.1 and higher
