Discover the South Coast on a ranger-guided adventure
Feed your curiosity and discover some of nature’s secrets on a ranger-guided tour in a South Coast or Southern Highlands national park this summer.
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Discovery Ranger, Paul Gleeson, said the popular Discovery and WilderQuest tours give the whole family the chance to go on an adventure.
"From exploring rockpools at Seven Mile Beach National Park, to taking a night-walk with nocturnal animal life around Depot Beach - these ranger-guided tours really have something for everyone,” Mr Gleeson said.
“This summer’s adventures include a brand-new Tree Hugger’s Tour of Morton National Park as well as our popular RAD Ranger Activity Days, where kids get to try out being a ranger in different environments; the woodlands of Fitzroy Falls, the coastal heath of Depot Beach and the rainforest of Minnamurra.
“All activities have been expertly designed by NPWS Discovery Rangers so people can appreciate nature and explore a different side to our national parks with one of our passionate and knowledgeable guides,” Mr Gleeson said.
