Get involved in citizen science
This short video explains the benefits of citizen science to Office of Environment and Heritage and the community.
OEH has developed a citizen science program where participants of all ages from all walks of life learn and contribute to our science projects.
Citizen science a great way for people to learn about science in a fun way. It’s also very valuable for OEH to help fill gaps in our data and knowledge base.
Examples of our citizen science projects include helping to survey for birds, monitoring dust and participating in BioBlitzes.
The public can also participate in our online citizen science programs by helping identify and analyse our data using their computer or smart phone.
