Environment Minister Mark Speakman and Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Dominic Perrottet today announced discounts on National Park Passes for customers who renew their vehicle registration online.

“Customers who renew their vehicle registrations online through Service NSW will be entitled to $15 off the full price of two of the most popular annual national park passes,” Mr Speakman said.

The discount, which was an election commitment, applies to two of the most popular passes – All Parks and Multi-Parks Passes.

An annual pass means customers only need to pay a one-off fee for vehicle access to either one or a collection of the 45 fee collecting national parks.

“Vehicle single park entry fees range between $3 and $20 per visit, and with the $15 discount these annual passes are even better value,” Mr Speakman said.

Mr Perrottet said the discount was another great reason to take advantage of the Service NSW web service and mobile app, with hundreds of transactions available 24/7 at the click of a button, including vehicle registration.

“The Service NSW website and mobile app are prime examples of Service NSW’s game-changing customer service, offering a quick and easy way to complete transactions at a time and place convenient for you,” he said.

“The National Park Pass discount means if you renew your vehicle registration online you won’t just save time, you’ll save money too, and that’s great news for anyone keen to enjoy the great outdoors in our state’s beautiful national parks this summer.”

The National Parks Pass discount is available for 12 months commencing 20 December 2015. For more info visit service.nsw.gov.au or phone 13 77 88.
