Blasting
Where development proposals are likely to involve blasting, for example, for the construction of a new road, or for a mining or quarrying project, OEH recommends that blasting overpressure and ground vibration be assessed in accordance with the Australian and New Zealand Environment Council's (ANZEC) "Technical basis for guidelines to minimise annoyance due to blasting overpressure and ground vibration" (1990).
