The upgrade included several changes and new functions. Consignment authorisations, a new procedure for handling consignors not currently listed in the tracking system, has been introduced, overcoming a number of problems with the existing draft consignor function. A new function enabling users to search for a receiving facility is available under Tools. The search criteria include waste code, enabling users to find a list of facilities that can accept a specified waste. Additional reports are available in the liquid waste levy module. Problems with the function enabling emails to be sent confirming a CA or TC has been created or updated have been resolved.
