Historic sites

Historic sites are reserves which have been established to protect and promote cultural heritage values. A site may contain both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal heritage, and include areas associated with a person or event in history, or areas containing a building, place, feature or landscape of cultural significance.

Historic sites are intended to promote understanding and appreciation for cultural heritage, and are generally open to visitors.
