Useful Information

As part of its commitment to Electronic Service Delivery, the EPA is making Annual Return forms available electronically for licensees. Licensees are able to download customised Annual Return forms for their current and previous licence reporting periods as well as a copy of their Environment Protection Licence.

An Annual Return is completed by a licensee in order to provide feedback to the EPA about its environmental performance and requires completion of a monitoring summary and certification that it has complied, or has not complied with the conditions attached to the licence. Details of non-compliances that occurred during the reporting period must be provided in the Annual Return.

All Environment Protection Licence holders (“licensees”) are required by licence condition R1.5 to complete an Annual Return and submit it to the EPA no later than 60 days after the end of the licence reporting period.

Through the provision of Annual Return forms on the EPA website, the EPA is aiming to provide a more efficient service for licensees.
