Randia moorei F. Muell. ex Benth 1867 (Spiny Gardenia) occurs in north-eastern New South Wales (NSW) and south-eastern Queensland. The species was first recorded in 1895, and is known from the Lismore, Byron and Tweed local government areas (LGAs) in NSW and the Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) area in Queensland.
