The Kosciuszko National Park Horse Management Plan (2008) has guided the wild horse management program in Kosciuszko National Park since it was adopted in December 2008. The 2008 Horse Plan included an action to review the plan after five years, and in 2013 the then Minister for the Environment, Robin Parker, formally asked the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) to review the plan.
