One of the most endangered plant species in NSW is Hibbertia sp. Bankstown, found only on a small area of already disturbed land near Bankstown Airport.

A key action to prevent extinction of this species is to find compatible areas nearby into which it can be translocated, but the locally unique characteristics of the soil on which the species grows make successful translocation a challenge.

With a detailed soil investigation, we assess the suitability of available areas and recommend the most promising locations for translocation.
