Species sightings and management sites across NSW

OEH is currently developing a targeted approach for managing Partnership species species. In the interim, the following management actions have been identified for this species.
  • As there are so few records of this species, investigate existing locations and future records to better determine distribution and identify areas of potential habitat to undertake survey and management actions.
  • Undertake an annual monitoring program within identified habitat within both DECC reserves and other tenures, to determine the distribution and abundance of the species, particularly in areas where management actions are being undertaken.
  • Use management agreements and incentives on private and leasehold land to manage total grazing pressure through such actions as removal of artificial water points and feral and native herbivore control.
  • Implement PAS actions from the competition from feral honeybee KTP.
