XYZ JOINS THE DRAIN IS JUST FOR RAIN CAMPAIGN
XYZ's own (name of company or organisation) has joined the fight to tackle stormwater pollution head-on as part of the local the Drain is Just for Rain campaign.
Prompted by (eg special concern for the environment/love of outdoors etc), (name of company or organisation) came on board because ..........

XYZ's Managing Director/General Manager, (name) said, "Whether you work or live in this community, every one needs to take responsibility for the health of our local dams/creeks/rivers. (name of company) is also part of this local area and is happy to support the campaign.

"There are many simple 'everyday' things that we can all do to keep our rivers, lakes and oceans free of rubbish. Around the garden, regularly sweep up leaves and never use the hose as a broom. Around the house, wash paint brushes and rollers over the lawn and wash your car on the grass."
The Drain is Just for Rain campaign is part of a state-wide initiative that has been made possible by a three year $60 million commitment by the State Government. Local councils have been funded to find solutions to tackling stormwater pollution.
