Biodiversity surveys for Comprehensive Regional Assessments of eastern forests

The NPWS carried out an extensive series of surveys for vertebrates, selected invertebrates, selected threatened plants and vegetation throughout the forests of eastern NSW between late 1996 and mid-1998.

This was part of the NSW Comprehensive Regional Assessments under the National Forest Policy Statement. The work was funded jointly by the Commonwealth and NSW governments.
