Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
DECCW is about to appoint specialist Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) contractors to identify energy saving technologies, deliver subsidised specialist energy audits that provide the business case for action, develop case studies and run seminars and tours of demonstration sites.
Typical technologies
Optimising existing HVAC equipment or installing new technologies which are detailed below:
- variable speed drives for:
- condenser water pumps
- cooling tower fans
- chilled water pumps
- air handing units
- chiller compressors
- chiller system optimisation via the BMS and DDC
- electronic expansion valves
- heat recovery
- maintenance of chiller systems
