Sustainability compacts
NSW Sustainability Compacts are built on the concept of partnership. Compacts are voluntary three (3) to five (5) year agreements between the Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW and leading Australian companies that operate in New South Wales.
A Compact places emphasis on the joint implementation of sustainability projects that will deliver tangible environmental results in the sector in which they operate and in key business areas of:
- Sustainability leadership
- Sustainable products and services
- Efficient production and service delivery
- Environmental responsibility
