Public information sessions, workshops and webinars
Find out about the proposed new system for managing and conserving Aboriginal cultural heritage and provide feedback on the draft legislation by taking part in our public information sessions, workshops and webinars.
To help you understand the proposed new system, we are running a 2-stage public information process involving 19 locations across New South Wales.
- Stage 1 involved information sessions, at which more about the proposed legislation was presented and attendees were able to ask questions. Stage 1 is now complete. You can view presentations given at these sessions by watching the webinar, which is available to view in the ‘Videos’ section of our consultation page (video 5).
- Stage 2 involves workshops at each location, which will enable you to discuss issues and provide feedback once the draft legislation has been released. Workshops have been delayed and will be held in early 2018. Dates and venues will be confirmed by mid-December 2017.
